Calling each other.

Christmas 2010

Whispered giggles,

Jolly laughs,

Raindrops lead to snowflakes,

As the trees take a nap.

Peace to All

Here comes the Sun-----Flower

Even the local coffee shop celebrates Sunflowers.

For a little ride after my birthday dinner we drove around town and took photos of Sunflowers.

Days at the Bay

We went down to the bay area to put on a funeral for my Uncle Dick. It was very atmospheric in the cold wind and fog with the honor guard playing taps.
On the way down and back to the bay area we have a couple of places that we like to stop and get some food and have a walking around break. One place is the Nugget Market and the other is Mimi's. Here is a photo homage to another blog site that I love, Paris Breakfast.

Days of clean machines and Anahata

We just got through washing the Toyota. We only do it twice a year and boy did it need it. The door jams were full of spiderwebs, mostly because we don't drive the Toyota much. I received my new "Somerset Studio" magazine in the mail and I got very inspired with the cover picture and article about Anahata Katkin and her beautiful work. So here is my ongoing art challenge to myself. Unlike Anahata, I didn't do my little pictures on the computer, which made the process limited to what I could do. Plus, the female I chose for the pieces was in such a beautiful painting that I didn't want to cut her out of the work. I did enlarge the postcard and cut off the edges. I am happy with the outcome. Weeks ago I had sent off for a book of pre-Raphael postcards and there are some beautiful pictures in the book. This gave me a perfect subject to use. I have sent the little pieces of collage off to my new blog partners and I hope they enjoy them.
