California Crusin' on such an autumn Day
San Francisco to Ensenada and back. It was so much fun and I was on a quest for all things Day of The Dead. It was the middle of October so I knew someone down south was getting in the spirit of the season.

Norway and Snow and Murder between the pages
I have really taken a liking to Scandinavian murder mysteries. I think the first murder mystery I liked was SMILLA'S SENSE OF SNOW. It was a wonderful book and movie. Then I got into the snow thing and read SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS and THE SHIPPING NEWS. All great books and movies about desolate places and lives in sever climates. We should not forget the MILLENNIUM TRILOGY.
The last couple of books I have read have been by the Norwegian author Jo Nesbo.
A great detective novel set in and around Oslo Norway. Makes me cold just thinking about it.
NEMESIS and THE SNOWMAN I have on my Kindle along with one more Jo Nesbo story that I will read in the coming months.
I am thinking that I want to read a seasonal book for October and fall, and the Halloween time of year. So many books and so little time.

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton
This was a wonderful book. I just finished reading it this morning. I kept thinking I knew what was going on with the storyline and it kept changing. It had some wow moments when the story took a turn in a new direction. The story takes place during WW2 in England. There are family mysteries and secrets. The cover of the paperback book is beautiful so I made a little corner pocket bookmark for it. Now I get to pick another book to read. I have a lot of TBR books on my shelves to pick from also I have books in my Kindle to read. Yippee.
